By · CommentsOn Friday, June 11 WorldWater & Solar Technologies, Inc. shipped the fifth MMP system plus a customized MMP trailer to Haiti to help people in post-earthquake Haiti. This system was purchased by International Relief Teams (IRT) and was further supported by your donations to WorldWater for Disaster Relief. The MMP will arrive in Haiti in the coming days, and will be operated by Haiti Vision. Check back for updates!
In late April, 2010 International Relief Teams, in partnership with Haiti Vision, purchased a Mobile MaxPure for deployment in Haiti as part of ongoing disaster relief and recovery efforts. WorldWater has begun production of the MMP system and, in partnership with Haiti Vision and International Relief Teams will be sending the solar-powered water purification system to Haiti in the coming weeks.
