International Relief Teams & Haiti Vision Sending MMP to Haiti
Posted by: | CommentsIn late April, 2010 International Relief Teams, in partnership with Haiti Vision, purchased a Mobile MaxPure for deployment in Haiti as part of ongoing disaster relief and recovery efforts. The deployment of additional MMPs in Haiti at this time is critical as Haiti is about to enter the rainy season, presenting grave dangers for the spread of water-born diseases such as cholera in the tent cities and elsewhere. WorldWater has begun production of the MMP system and, in partnership with Haiti Vision and International Relief Teams will be sending the solar-powered water purification system to Haiti in the coming weeks.
